2023 Castles in Spring
Schools are starting work on our Big Sing KS1. This year we will be joining together to perform the short musical Jack and the Beanstalk, with music by Niki Davies, and each school will perform a song of their own choice based on the theme.

Too many smiles to count
March saw the joyful return of our joint school singing events for KS1. The schools performed to each other and sang together in a mass choir - and for many children this was their first trip out of school.
The children sang songs to tell the story of the Gingerbread Man and everyone learnt to rap to encourage the Gingerbread Man to “run, run, as fast as you can…” Some children made Gingerbread themed headbands and song props to brighten up our workshops.
