Kendal Music Centre

Kendal Music Centre is for all young musicians, whatever standard, to create and perform music as part of a group. Led by expert tutors from the Music Service and supported by funding from Cumbria Music Hub, we work with you to improve your group playing and music reading skills in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.

We currently have 3 groups which meet after school. Young Strings meet on Mondays, Music Makers on Tuesdays and Young Wind on Wednesdays. These Music Service groups link into the opportunities offered by our partners at Westmorland Youth Orchestra, where you can progress into more advanced groups.
