Cumbria Youth Orchestra
Cumbria Youth Orchestra is a group of young musicians of around grade 4-8 standard. We play a huge variety of orchestral music with a young professional conductor, Leon Reimer. Rehearsals are supported by our team of specialist professional tutors.
Join us to discover the excitement of creating live music with other young musicians. If you want to perform in a variety of musical settings, improve your ensemble skills and raise the level of your playing we’d love to hear from you.
In 2021/22 Cumbria Youth Orchestra worked together with members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to perform a concert of pieces including the Cumbria Share Sound compositions written as part of the Orchestras Live project for young composers.
