Connect: Resound Live is breaking down barriers to access to live music.
Schools are invited to experience the excitement of DaDaFest Scratch, a
music event which showcases the creative talents of developing artists who
are D/deaf or disabled. The event will include expressive music performances and premiere a new
composition. There will be plenty of opportunities for audience interaction too,
no instruments required!
Download the Teachers’ Resource Pack for more details and classroom
activities: www.connectresound.live/resources.
Direct from DaDaFest Scratch at the Liverpool Philharmonic
DaDaFest Scratch at Liverpool Philharmonic is the first of a series of events hosted by the disability and D/deaf arts organisation DaDaFest. These events are an opportunity for developing artists who identify as disabled or D/deaf to showcase their work. Crucially, it’s also a chance for feedback from an audience, using this experience to inform and influence future practice.
Connect: Resound is a project run by youth music charity
NYMAZ which uses technology to create more music education and enrichment opportunities for children and young people.
