Tuesday 20 September: Primary School CPD
Barrow
4-6pm | Dane Ghyll School, Barrow-in-Furness, LA14 4PG
This CPD session will provide support for primary school staff who have little or no musical experience. It is designed to build confidence in teaching music in the classroom. It will offer a comprehensive presentation and demonstration of what the Benedetti Foundation believe to be the strongest and greatest teaching practices in the world.
Thursday 22 September: String Workshop for Students (afternoon)
1–4pm (registration from 12.30) | Trinity School CA1 1J
The aim of the String Workshop is to provide a springboard opportunity, a catalyst to inspire children to continue with learning their instrument when enthusiasm may be waning, to encourage them to engage in the opportunities available to them in the local area and ultimately to enhance their commitment and dedication to learning their instrument.
The workshop would suit any player of the violin, viola, cello or double bass who can play open strings up to Grade 2+ standard and are approximately in School Years 3-8.
As this is a school day we will write to your school to formally request permission to attend this workshop as an educational activity.
