Children’s Orchestra 10.30-12.00
The Orchestra is open to age 7 and upwards. Anyone who wants to learn to play an instrument in a group and make exciting sounds is welcome. You don’t need an instrument, or any experience. If you have been playing for a bit and are quite good you will be given the opportunity to play tunes and more difficult bits.
You can bring your family along to join in too – they can come for free!

Kirkby Stephen Silver Band
Where: Mill Lane, nr Frank’s Bridge, Kirkby Stephen
When: Mondays 7.30- 9pm
We provide an opportunity for youngsters from the age of 9 to begin learning a brass instrument (for the first few months we make no charge and provide an instrument and a weekly lesson). We currently have about 25 members ranging from almost complete beginners to very accomplished musicians.Find out more
