There are places still available for schools to join Rosehill for Schools Sing Whitehaven Leading to the launch of the Rosehill’s flagship youth choir project, Rosehill Children’s Choir, starting in August 2017, Rosehill are offeringSchools Sing workshops, which will build on the success of our previous singing project with schools over the last two years. Schools Sing will provide the opportunity for schools to learn a variety of repertoire, including music from the famous Friday Afternoon Songs, and perform alongside professional musicians and other schools in a community concert. The workshops will be fun, engaging sessions, designed to introduce students to new musical experiences and ignite a love of singing. Working with vocal leaders Robbie Jacob and Hannah King and members of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain’s Fellowship Choir, each school will have a series of 5 workshops, teaching the students to learn new songs and develop their performing confidence. The workshops will culminate in a Schools Sing day at Rosehill on Thursday 13 July 2017.
