Kendal Music Centre

Kendal Music Centre is for all young musicians, whatever standard, to create and perform music as part of a group. Led by expert tutors from Westmorland & Furness Music Service and supported by funding from Cumbria Music Hub, we work with you to improve your group playing and music reading skills in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.

From September 2023, we are bringing all of our Kendal Music Centre activities together under one roof at Ghyllside Primary School on Tuesdays after school. Join as many Music Centre groups as you like, for one membership fee!

These groups link into the opportunities offered by Hub partners Westmorland Youth Orchestra, where you can progress into more advanced groups.
