Alice certainly encouraged our young musicians as conductor of Cumbria Youth Orchestra, but her support for women conductors through the Royal Philharmonic Society placed her with Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Nicola Benedetti on the Woman's Hour 2018 PowerList of musical influencers.

Musicians aged 18 and above who possess some conducting experience and wish to make it a more serious aspect of their work will receive expert coaching on baton technique and leadership skills, and conduct a professional ensemble consisting of players from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
