Christmas 2022 started with a festive return to live performances - a very special Christmas Extravaganza collaboration. Our two sell-out concerts at the beginning of December have brought together hundreds of young performers, 2 Youth Orchestras, 10 schools and some favourite Christmas music.
Cumbria Youth Orchestra and Westmorland Youth Orchestra joined forces, and Primary schools from South Lakeland and Carlisle signed up for our singing workshops and joined together in the choir. Thank you to everyone who made this possible - the young musicians, dedicated class teachers, WYO and Cumbria Music Hub teams, and all the enthusiastic friends and family who came to the performances and joined in the Christmas singing.
