Carlisle Music Centre offers a range of groups for young musicians of all standards and instruments in North Cumbria to play together regularly. The groups are led by expert tutors from Music Services and supported by funding from Cumbria Music Hub.

When: Thursdays during term time 4.45-8pm
Ensemble Groups 4.45-5.45pm
We welcome players from beginners upwards to join our ensemble groups for Woodwind, Brass, Strings and Percussion. There are opportunities to progress into the Carlisle Youth Concert Band and Cumbria Youth Orchestra.
Carlisle Youth Concert Band6-8pm
Carlisle Youth Concert Band welcomes more experience young woodwind, brass and percussion musicians of about grade 4 and above (no formal grade exams are required – please call or email if you’d like advice).
Guitar Group7-8pm
