The Project

We are looking for up to 20 young people to join us to create 2 new pieces of music which will be performed live on 11 July in Penrith.

Share Sound is a creative project which explores the possibilities of digital working and co-creation of new music. You will work with composers James Redwood (who worked with us last year) and Alice Phelps, and musicians from The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestras Live and Cumbria Music Hub.

  • work face-to-face with professionals and other young musicians
  • socialise and make music together
  • open to all young people, year 7 and upwards, whatever your musical interests
  • any voice or instrument – acoustic, electronic or digital – is welcome
