Would you like to find financial help for your music education? We keep a list of up-coming opportunities, which includes competitions and national funding opportunities.
Future Talent is a very special charity that gives financial support and guidance to young musicians aged between 5 and 18 who are clearly demonstrating outstanding musical ability or potential, but for whatever reason do not have the financial means to reach their goal.
They support musicians from all musical genres and awards are given for a variety of purposes including the purchase of instruments, music lessons, fees for specialist training courses and membership to national training ensembles such as the National Youth Orchestra and National Youth Choir.
Awards for Young Musicians
AYM helps exceptional young people who need financial and other forms of support to progress their musical talent and to develop their skills to their full potential. Their annual Awards programme has so far supported more than 1,000 exceptional young musicians, many of whom have gone on to prestigious music colleges and become professional musicians. Each year young musicians in need of financial support towards the next step in their musical progression can apply for up to £2,000. The average Award value is £500.
Help Musicians UK
Help Musicians supports musicians at all stages of their careers. Their dedicated talent development programme invests more than £600,000 a year in helping emerging artists.
