National Competition for young composers from RSNO

RSNO: Notes from Scotland

The RSNO has recently launched its 2019 national composing competition for 12-18 year olds, Notes From Scotland. In addition to the competition, there is a free workshop for anyone in that age range who is interested in learning more a bit about composition.

The live final will be held in the New Auditorium at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, where five shortlisted pieces will be performed and recorded by RSNO musicians for an audience and panel of judges. The winning composer will receive a pair of Bose SoundLink® headphones and enjoy VIP access to RSNO concerts.
